‘ACTION! QR CODES!’
Scan these knitted QR Codes and follow the instructions.
Greta Grip’s hand knited QR codes (that work!) will be placed in the windows of 177 Armstrong Street. They will cover the complete facade with knitting (inspired by Justy – another knitting NBO12 artist – you can catch her project here).
Twiss&Weber will set up an area for people to make hand crafts. Their idea is that Life is Beautiful, therefore …bring back the beauty in things… Promoting an all night craft session Twiss&Weber will supply kits and demonstrations of how to embroider hankerchiefs. These hand stitched hankerchiefs will embody various stitches to create colour, shape and texture.
Please come by and embroider your own text… maybe something like/ love, snotrag, I am not disposable, wash me, dry your eyes, chin up, … of joy.
From the hand knitting of Greta Grip’s QR codes covering the studio with a knitted facade to the handstitching of individual hankerchiefs this project incorporates “woman’s work” into the NBO12 theme of ‘Life is Beautiful’.
OOOhhh! and Merry Dairy has agreed to park her truck at this location for the evening and provide some yummy treats! http://www.themerrydairy.com/ #YES!!
