Pedro Isztin’s photographic work discovers and uncovers moments of sacred natural beauty with diversity, sensitivity and depth. In one of his most recent projects (2004-11), title The River (featuring scenes from the Ottawa/Outaouais River, between Ottawa, Aylmer and Hull) Isztin scours the forests and shorelines of his youth to photograph the ancient, mystic and silent ways of natural and fragile ecosystem.
